Learning to belly dance, at the most foundational physical level, means finding, feeling, and controlling your muscles to create isolated movement. In this class, we start with a gentle yoga-inspired warm up followed by isolation practices that address posture, timing, balance and coordination. Set to Middle Eastern music, students will dance combinations and floor patterns that tie everything together.
