Gentle yoga uses beginner poses and props such as blocks, straps and the yoga wall to assist in building flexibility, strength and coordination. These classes are accessible for those with injuries or other mobility limitations. Gentle yoga and in particular the use of props comes out of the Iyengar tradition. Some of our Gentle yoga teachers are Iyengar instructors and others are not, but they all have experience working with a variety of mobility concerns.
