Approx 8 years.

How many hours of training do you have?

More than a thousand.

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?

Since I was young, I wanted to help others in a natural, meaningful way. In similar way as I’ve helped myself heal from anxiety and pain through consistent  exercise and mindfulness, massage therapy felt like the beginning of that path!

Where did you go to school for massage?

Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage

How do you describe your massage/work to others?

Deep, thorough, nurturing and intuitive.

What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?

Somatic modalities because I am passionate about understanding the mind, the nervous system and how emotions & trauma are stored in the body.

What do you do to stay healthy?

Eat well, go on hikes, meditate, hydrate daily, read and write, talk therapy, and of course, get massages!

What do you like about working at Myo Massage?
I appreciate the work environment and working with other experienced therapists and massage savvy clients! I also like the fact that the business is owned by massage therapists!
How has receiving massage affected you personally?

I’ve developed more awareness and connection to my body. I feel more at ease and comfortable in my body.
