Stay tuned for an upcoming T’ai Chi series! In the meantime please join us for the related movement practice of Qi Gong.
Tai Ji (or Tai Chi as it is more commonly known) teaches you how to build and harness your energy while re-establishing healthy movement patterns. It is an ancient system that develops coordination, balance, freedom of movement and focus. Joshua teaches the Wudang style of Tai Ji and Qi Gong as taught to him by Master Yun Xiang Tseng (Chen). It is excellent for people who are looking for balance and ease in their life, no matter what age or level of health. It is a great compliment to athletes to train with more ease and flow. It greatly improves any other physical activity while giving your mind space to enjoy the experience. It is a practice that knows no boundaries or limits of depth. Generally Qi Gong movements are simpler and Tai Ji movements tend to be more complex. They are all fairly easy movements that can be made harder or easier by the attention to detail and/or level of stance (lower or higher).
