Policies

CANCELLATIONS

Please notify us as soon as possible if you will not be able to keep your appointment. Cancellations are permitted without penalty up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within the 12 hour period and no shows will be charged 50% of the non discounted service price.  If you need to cancel, you can contact us directly or log in to our online booking interface here.

Packages and group bookings require a 24-hour notice of cancellation. During certain holiday times, all bookings may be subject to a longer cancellation period.

Please understand that our cancellation charges are in place to pay the therapist for their travel, wait time and opportunity cost. Sufficient notice allows us to notify the therapist of a cancellation, and if possible to replace the appointment with someone from our waitlist. We do appreciate more notice whenever possible.

We require a valid credit card number to reserve all appointments. If security concerns prevent you from sharing this information with us, you may securely prepay for your services or purchase a gift certificate on our website.

If an emergency arises, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the particulars of your situation.

TARDINESS

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Please allow plenty of time for traffic, parking, and any required paperwork. If you are late to your appointment, your session will still end at the scheduled time out of consideration for the next client. You will be billed for the full service as originally booked. If the schedule permits, we may have the option to either extend or rebook the appointment for a later time, however, a reschedule fee will still apply.

ILLNESS

You should not receive massage if you have a fever, a cold or the flu, or any contagious illness. Massage is likely to worsen your symptoms, and if you are contagious, you’re putting your therapist and our other clients at risk.
If you are sick or feel like you’re coming down with something, please contact us with plenty of notice to reschedule. If you come in for your appointment with a fever or a contagious illness, your therapist has the right to refuse service to protect their health as well as that of other clients and staff.

Certain non-contagious illnesses can benefit from massage, lymphatic drainage, or acupuncture, including allergies and auto-immune disorders. Other conditions may be contraindications for some types of massage. If you have questions regarding your particular situation, please get in touch.

WALK-INS

We accept walk-ins during business hours when available, but we typically require at least one hour’s notice to call in a therapist. Although we usually have some same-day appointments, many of our therapists are booked a week or more in advance, and certain services have limited availability. We recommend making an appointment in advance whenever possible to ensure availability of the time, therapist, or modality you prefer.

FOR YOUNGER CLIENTS

If you are under the age of 17, you must have written consent of a parent or guardian to receive massage. If you are under the age of 13, a parent or guardian must be present in the massage room for the entire duration of the session.

CLASSES

For the safety of the student and out of respect to the instructor, classes may not be entered more than 10 minutes late. This late policy may not apply to dance classes. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late will be denied entry and charged full price for the class.

Class cancellations must be made 12 hours prior to the start of a reserved class. This will give us sufficient time to notify our waiting list. If you cancel within 12 hours of start time, you will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. Out of consideration to other students, this fee applies even to Unlimited Memberships. No-shows without prior notice will be charged full price for the class.
