Specialty Massage in Austin

Our specialty massage services take a different approach from standard Swedish or Deep Tissue massage. Some of these techniques target specific body systems like the lymphatic, digestive, reproductive or nervous systems. Others have origins in Osteopathic medicine or non-Western massage traditions. Specialty therapists have pursued extensive additional training in their chosen specialty.

Lymphatic Drainage

A light-pressure technique which stimulates the lymphatic capillaries throughout the body to take in and process lymph and the metabolic waste and other foreign matter that it carries. It is helpful for managing systemic inflammation and speeding healing from illness or injuries.

Thai Massage

Uses stretching and compression along Sen (energy lines) to increase mobility and energy. Traditional Thai is practiced on a floor mat but it can also be done on the table by request.

Cranio-Sacral

Cranio-sacral therapy uses gentle holding and traction to listen to the body’s subtle rhythms and affect the circulation of cerebro-spinal fluid. It is especially effective for integrating physical and emotional traumas and helping with conditions like migraines or TMJ.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing is a gentle, non-invasive technique which integrates structure and energy to achieve a sense of balance and stillness. Working at the level of the bones, where emotional and physical patterns are most deeply held, Zero Balancing allows profound releases and integration of body, mind, and spirit.
