Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?

My husband was dealing with piriformis syndrome and doctors could only prescribe pain medication, we searched for other ways to help him manage the pain and came across a massage video. I was inspired by this video and the way the therapist looked so centered and calm. I wanted to look that peaceful while working and helping others feel good about themselves!

Where did you go to school for massage?

The Lauterstein and Conway Massage School

How do you describe your massage/work to others?

My massage work is integrative and intuitive with detailed touch.

What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?

I’m interested in learning cranial sacral and reflexology. I like that there is minimal physical effort needed to perform the work, but the results can be remarkable.

What do you do to stay healthy?

I stretch daily and move/dance 3x a week to release tension in my body. I receive bodywork 1-2x a month.

How has receiving massage affected you personally?

I can’t imagine living in this busy body without ever receiving body work. I’m more conscious about my movement, posture and overall health.
