Jamie Berlant is a graduate of the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. Her work focuses on
identifying and treating structural restrictions using deep therapeutic massage, myofascial
release, and precision neuromuscular techniques. She specializes in head and neck conditions,
including migraine, whiplash, and TMJ dysfunction, with advanced training through Precision
Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT).
Jamie works with both injury-related and stress-related patterns, helping clients reduce pain,
restore function, and improve overall mobility. Her style is often described as slow, detailed, and
attentive, with an emphasis on thoughtful assessment and patient care.
Coming into massage with an art degree in sculpture, she brings a refined understanding of
anatomy and sense of touch to her hands-on work. She has trained in Krav Maga, Muay Thai,
and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2015, which informs her appreciation for performance, recovery,
and resilient movement.
How long have you been a licensed massage therapist?

I have been licensed since the summer of 2025.

How many hours of training do you have?

I completed 500 hours at Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and have continued with over 70
hours of continuing education, with more in progress.

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?

I’ve worked with my hands most of my life as a sculptor and mountmaker. When that business
slowed during COVID, I began exploring other paths. A massage therapist pointed out how
much I value working hands-on and connecting with people in real life — and that insight
resonated deeply.
Massage felt like a natural extension of how I’ve always communicated: through touch,
observation, and detail. Once I researched the field, everything aligned quickly. It has been one
of the most meaningful and intuitive career decisions I’ve made.

Where did you go to school for massage?

Lauterstein-Conway Massage School

How do you describe your massage/work to others?

My work is deep, slow, and intentional. I approach each session with curiosity — thinking about
anatomy, referral patterns, and the possible root cause of discomfort.
I also pay close attention to how the nervous system responds to touch. When the body feels
safe, real change happens. That balance between precision and listening is where the work
becomes most effective.

What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?

I am continuing to study myofascial patterns and fascial line relationships — how restrictions in
one area can influence pain elsewhere in the body. I am also working toward advanced
certification in neuromuscular therapy to deepen my clinical skill set.

How has receiving massage affected you personally?

With over 10 years of martial arts training, I’ve experienced my share of injuries. Massage has
helped me recover physically, but just as importantly, it has helped me reconnect with my body
during stressful or demanding times.
For me, massage has often been a physical and emotional reset — reducing pain, restoring
clarity, and allowing me to keep moving forward doing the things I love.

What do you do to stay healthy?

I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, make artwork, spend time gardening- watching things grow, and
prioritize meaningful time with my children and friends. I’m intentional about supporting my
mental health and building a life that feels balanced and sustainable.

What do you like about working at Myo Massage?

The therapists here are exceptional. Each practitioner has a distinct and refined approach,
which gives clients the opportunity to find the right fit for their needs. I value the collaborative
environment and feel grateful to work alongside such skilled bodyworkers.
