Embarking on a journey in massage therapy stemmed from my deep-seated desire to enhance not only my own understanding but also that of others regarding optimal body care. This path resonates with me profoundly, offering a profound sense of purpose and satisfaction. Knowing that I contribute to enhancing someone’s quality of life, whether by alleviating discomfort, fostering relaxation, or facilitating peace, is immensely fulfilling and propels me forward in my practice.

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?
I chose massage therapy as my career because I have an interest in better educating myself and others on how to better take care of their bodies. Ultimately being a massage therapist gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Knowing that I played a role in improving someone’s quality of life, alleviating their pain, or simply helping them find peace and relaxation is incredibly rewarding and drives me to continue my work.

I went to Dayton School of Medical Massage in Dayton, Ohio.
How do you describe your massage/work to others?
I describe my massage/work to others as unique to your needs and preferences. I combine Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques to address specific areas of tension and promote holistic healing.
What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?
Some examples of continuing education that interest me are Thai massage. It offers a versatile set of techniques that can be adapted to meet a wide range of client needs. From learning to enhance relaxation, improve flexibility, or address specific muscular imbalances.
How has receiving massage affected you personally?
Receiving massage has affected me personally as it has become a cherished ritual that I look forward to and prioritize in my life. It serves as a reminder to honor my body, prioritize my well-being, and carve out time for relaxation and rejuvenation amidst life’s demands.
What do you do to stay healthy?
To stay healthy I enjoy training Muay Thai, learning mma, weight lifting, hiking, stretching, and receiving massage.
