How long have you been a licensed massage therapist?

May 2024, (or “a little less than a year”??) but when most people learn that I am new to the profession, they are very surprised.

How many hours of training do you have?

550 hours

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?

I had been wanting to change careers for a while, and one day I had a life-changing spa experience. The rest is history.

Where did you go to school for massage?

The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School

How do you describe your massage/work to others?

My sessions are a blend of deep tissue and swedish, a deeply relaxing creative flow with a focus on your specific trouble areas.  My aim is to relieve stress and tension with a therapeutic approach.

What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?

Anything and Everything.  I love learning different modalities, techniques and approaches and feel that I can benefit from any continuing ed class I take.  I would love to dive deeper into Lomi Lomi and Cupping.

How has receiving massage affected you personally?

Besides inspiring me to change careers, it has helped me to gain relief from chronic pain and influenced me to make self-care a higher priority in my life.

What do you do to stay healthy?

Healthy eating, exercise, lots of water, self-care and nourishing my creative self.
