Book with Calli

Calli graduated from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School and has been licensed since August 2022. Her passion for massage stems from her active lifestyle and background in athletics having played soccer, basketball, lacrosse and sand volleyball.  With a history of overcoming injuries she uses her experience and knowledge of massage to help people find balance, reduce pain and move with ease.  Calli incorporates a range of techniques from Swedish, deep tissue, stretches, myofascial release and trigger point to achieve greater range of motion and painless movement for her clients.  Her session can be described as intuitive, exploratory and effective.
How long have you been a licensed massage therapist?

I have been a licensed massage therapist for about 7 months now.

How many hours of training do you have?

I have 500 hours of training.

Why did you choose massage therapy as your career?

I chose a career in massage to assist others in finding balance, reduce pain and move with ease.

Where did you go to school for massage?

I went to the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School.

How do you describe your massage/work to others?

Overall, I would describe my massage work as exploratory, firm and patient. I enjoy listening to the tissue and allowing my clients body to be accepting of my work.

What are some examples of Continuing Education you are interested in and why?

I am most interested in furthering my education in sports massage, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and movement based modalities.

What do you do to stay healthy?

To stay healthy I am involved in several sports leagues including soccer and sand volleyball and I train in powerlifting. I love trying new workout classes to keep things fun, I have been in krav maga, pilates, aerial silks and so much more, it’s incredible to see what you can do if you just give yourself the chance!

How has receiving massage affected you personally?

I played many sports growing up and with that came sprains, strains and a few broken bones; I am no stranger to the many benefits of what massage can bring to your mental and physical health. Massage has brought me comfort in my own body by bringing me heightened body awareness, pain management and relief, and peace of mind.

What do you like about working at Myo Massage?

While I may be new to the scene, what I like the most about Myo is each therapist’s overall interest is the well-being of their clients.
